Valor Hospitality Partners is delighted to announce the newest joint venture with Yamed Group to form Valor North & West Africa out of Casablanca, Morocco.
After the announcement of its reorganization, including the launch of two new businesses, Yamed Group is taking a first step in the implementation of its strategy with the creation of a joint venture in the hotel investment and management businesses with Valor Hospitality Partners. Relying on its expertise as a real estate asset manager, investor and independent and fully integrated real estate operator, Yamed Group aims through this partnership to create a regional platform operating in the hospitality sector, covering Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Senegal and Ivory Coast.
Valor is thrilled to bring our expertise to the North & West Africa region, and shares with Yamed Group the lofty goal to become the market leader in hospitality operations and management in Morocco and overall region. As Morocco is one of the continent’s leading tourist destinations, there is a massive opportunity for growth and restructuring how hotel brands and owners alike operate in the region.
This strategic partnership will allow international hotel brands to have a commercially attractive alternative to the traditional direct management structure, allowing them rapid development in new destinations, including franchise agreements, both faster to negotiate and close, and low capital with a low level of risk. Third party management may be new to the region, but working with our new partners at Yamed Group, Valor is up for the challenge to Reimagine Hospitality in North & West Africa.
