Valor Hospitality South Africa is thrilled to announce a recent joint venture managing a new line of luxury boutique hotels. This unique collection of urban accommodations is known as Home* Suite Hotels. Designed with the discerning traveler in mind, this line of hotels is all about enjoying the comforts of home, and then some. Here’s a closer look at what you can expect from this game-changing collection.
Lucid Ventures, the R350M Cape Town based Hotel Fund and force behind Home* Suite Hotels, aims to attract discerning business travelers and well-traveled tourists with its newest endeavor. Read on for the details!
Lucid is an investment fund which facilitates a full tax deduction for its investors through its section 12J certification. The SARS incentive, a critical growth enabler to the South African economy, keeps investment funds onshore and stimulates high growth and job creating industries like tourism. Lucid’s integrated model combines its fund management skills with property development and hotel management capabilities. Its founder Gidon Novick formerly founded kulula.com and the SLOW lounges as Co-CEO of Comair. His co-directors are Andrew Kuming, head of leading urban developer K&S and Graham Wood, former head of Tsogo Sun.
Home Away From Home
Whether you’re traveling for business, pleasure, or a little bit of both, a stay at a Home* Suite Hotel is all about that next-level comfort. Even the little details (including ultra-comfy mattresses and a pillow preference menu) are designed to create an experience that doesn’t quite compare to any other.
The vibes: Refreshingly suburban, yet surprisingly central. Each hotel has a limited number of rooms and is designed to make guests feel “beyond at home.”
