Webb Wilson joined Kemmons Wilson Companies (KWC) in 2012 as a Principal of the company. Webb focuses primarily on private equity and real-estate activities at KWC, provides underwriting and diligence for operating Companies and real estate opportunities, and leverages his investment management and hospitality experience as a partner for Kemmons Wilson Hospitality Partners, a hotel fund.
After Webb earned his BA in Philosophy and Religious studies at the University of Virginia he worked for Centennial Partners as an analyst before advancing into the role of Portfolio Manager. Later, he held an internship with Balyasny Asset Management while in the MBA program at Kellogg School of Management. Webb is also a CFA Charterholder.
Webb sits on several professional boards including Valor Hospitality Partners, Kemmons Wilson Hospitality Partners, Central BBQ, Wilson Investment Management and Billy Reid.
Giving back to the community is an important element in Webb's life and he does so by founding and serving as treasurer for Memphis Bridge Lighting as well as serving as secretary of the board for Bridges Inc., a youth leadership program in Memphis.
And true to his southern roots, Webb has participated in the World Championship BBQ Cooking Contest in Memphis with his team, The People's Republic of Swina, for the past 11 years
