Specialising in Human Resources for the last 24 years, Moira is an award-winning hospitality graduate from Robert Gordon's University Aberdeen, Scotland. With over 28 years of hospitality experience, Moira is a key member of the UK executive team and takes responsibility for group HR activity, bringing operating standards and parity across all hotels. As a driver of change and innovation, Moira continues to redefine the human resource strategy in line with the changing business objectives. She is leading the new culture and employee engagement programme to ensure all employees remain motivated and that Valor Hospitality Partners continues to be recognised as one of the best hospitality companies to work for. This resulted in Valor Hospitality Europe receiving a prestigious accolade within the industry and being named Best Large Group Employer at the Catey Awards 2016.
Moira played a major role in the restructure and reposition of the organisation during previous company takeovers, most recently to Valor Hospitality Europe. Moira helped to realign and support the business merger initially from a PLC structure and between private equity ownership.
Moira's accolades include national training award winner, Best Employer in Hospitality — large group employer winner in 2016, and she is an active member of the Hotel Employers Group.
