Mary McKee is a seasoned hotel industry executive with extensive experience in all aspects of operations and a proven track record of optimizing revenue opportunities while containing cost and increasing customer satisfaction.
Ms. McKee's operations strengths include effectively managing multiple projects on differing timelines and training and leading teams to achieve focused results using creative solutions. Ms. McKee's project management experience also encompasses hotel renovation and new construction.
Ms. McKee joined Euan McGlashan on a consulting basis in 2010 and has been part of the evolution of the company since. This included completion of the Sheraton Four Points in Biloxi, Mississippi, Starwood’s first and only hotel in Mississippi, opening during the BP oil spill disaster yet quickly becoming both profitable and a top Starwood performer.
Previously, Ms. McKee served 13 years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where she held several hospitality management positions, including three years leading the New Builds and Transition Team, working with franchise partners on the preopening phase of their hotels.
Ms. McKee also played a key role in the development of training programs and operating standards for the launch of Starwood's newest brands, Aloft and ELEMENT.
Ms. McKee also has extensive background managing food and beverage (F&B) operations at properties including the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel, Lake Buena Vista, Florida and the Sheraton World Resort, Orlando, Florida.
Prior to joining Starwood, Ms. McKee worked for Rock Resorts in addition to working in the bed and breakfast industry and country club management.
