The Crowne Plaza Greenville, SC is the recipient of two Intercontinental Hotel Group’s top awards: Best of the Best and 2015 Torchbearer.
Greg Greenawalt received the General Manager of the Year award and Barney Gibson was awarded the Chief Building Engineer of the year. The Best of the Best award winners come from the top 10 hotels out of 225 hotels in the Crowne Plaza brand, and are given to individuals who demonstrate outstanding and unique service to the hotel, the hotel guests and the community.
Crowne Plaza Greenville also received the 2015 Torchbearer Award, IHG’s highest honor for excellence in quality and service. The award measures 12 months of guest satisfaction surveys, and is only given to the top 10 Crowne Plaza hotels in North and South America each year.

The Crowne Plaza Greenville completed a $5 million total hotel renovation in January 2014. The hotel has 202 deluxe king and double-bedded rooms, a fitness center, indoor pool, free Wi-Fi, free airport shuttle, 24 hour business center, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and 7,000 square feet of first class event space.
