After a spell of recent award wins, we took home another accolade on 22nd February, this time at the annual IHG Star Awards.
The event, which took place at the elegant One Marylebone in London, recognised the IHG hotels and individuals that had gone the extra mile in 2017.
Crowne Plaza Harrogate picked up the Hotel Transformation Award, following its rebrand from a Holiday Inn hotel last year, which also saw the hotel undergo an extensive refurbishment. As a result of the refurbishment, IHG HeartBeat Guest Love scores have increased by 14 points.
Debbie Skelson, director of sales at Crowne Plaza Nottingham, and Carol Manning, revenue manager at Crowne Plaza Chester, were also finalists in the Sales Excellence and Best Colleague of the Year categories respectively.
