Al Luciano, a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst School of Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration, began his 35 year hotel career with Hilton Hotels Corporation where he held positions in Food & Beverage and Sales & Marketing.
Mr. Luciano worked at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago and the Atlanta Hilton and Towers, also serving on the Hilton National Sales Team. He twice won Hotel of the Year at The Renaissance Waverly and the Marriott Rivercenter/Riverwalk hotels. He also worked for The Reno Lake Tahoe Convention and Visitors Bureau out of the Washington, DC office and as Vice President for Conference Direct, a leading Meeting Planning Company.
Mr. Luciano has had experience with several independent hotels such as Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Resort in Nashville and the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where he served as Vice President of Sales, overseeing 7,000 guest rooms for four luxury properties.
In his most recent position as Director of Sales and Marketing at the La Torretta Lake Resort and Spa in Montgomery, Texas, the property received numerous accolades including the Conde' Nast Traveler Readers Choice Award for Top Texas Resort.
